Shortlisting of the Rural Women Entrepreneurs out of pool of applications to run a customised Cohort to provide Mentorship, Business Development and Investments.
VKFandWCSteam cconducted the baseline survey to assess the ground realities along with assessing need of each of these selected 273 women entrepreneurs.

The Soft Interventions for the upgradation of the artisans: Awareness on value addition to the existing products. The Hard Interventions for the upgradation of the artisans: Setting up the CommonFacility Centre at Bagalkot.

WCS is associated with NRLM TSAs in supporting the Women Micro Cluster Development in terms of providing baseline data and artisan’s handholding aspects in Karnataka.

Around 18 years back, a team of enterprising women started this activity with the help of young men from the hamlet (who reach out to Bangalore market). Slowly this group took the shape of an SHG and got the official tag.
